Planning Permission Granted for 17 New Homes – Plumpton Field, Woodplumpton.

25th September 2019

We are pleased to announce that outline planning permission has been granted for 17 new homes in the centre of Woodplumpton, with 35% of these being allocated as affordable homes. A lack of housing supply has restricted young families to move to the area and yet the village has so much to offer; there is an excellent, recently refurbished park with new play equipment close by.  Woodplumpton St Annes Church of England Primary School is just a short walk away, which has close links to St Annes C of E Church a little further down the road.  The development is also within easy reach  for Broughton High School, a highly sought after secondary education school with an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating and impressive GCSE results, above the national level.  Plumpton Field is located in the heart of the village, which has a village pub and a communal garden, where carol singing takes place around the tree at Christmas time.  With easy access to the countryside, there are a network of public footpaths criss-crossing the local farms and woodlands and the Lancaster canal towpath offers nature walks or just feeding the ducks with the children …all with spectacular, far reaching views across to the Lancashire fells.  This really is a delightful place to live. Preston Train Station, in the City of Preston, is just five miles away  (a transport hub in the north-west which has a direct route to London Euston in just over 2 hours and closer by, connections to Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds).   The M6 /M55 motorway junction is only 3 miles away giving convenient access to the Lakes, The Fylde and Manchester.  To register your interest in this exciting new development call: 01772 690445 or email: sales@pringlehomes.co.uk
