Northcote Park, Langho – a new development like no other

5th October 2018

Planning application has been made for a new development like no other in the Ribble Valley.  Northcote Park, Langho is located just opposite Northcote.  Much thought has gone into the design, practicality and functionality of these extra special homes that we hope will gain the approval of the planners.

We recently published our computer generated image of the Cavendish house type (above) across social media, generating over a thousand responses and with some great comments:

what a house to come home to

‘majestic looking home’

simply stunning

‘it would be a heck of a home to come back to every night!’

My dream home

Pringle Homes and our architects LMP (http://www.lmparchitects.co.uk/), have been working hard to create comfortable, spacious homes to provide the very best in modern living, yet preserving traditional English character.  Combined, the results are homes to be proud of in terms of luxury, practicality and aesthetically pleasing features.

These sketches give you an idea of the space we want to create and the natural light that will flood in using up to date, modern designs, yet still being economically efficient to maintain and run.

We pride ourselves in building homes using the best quality materials and delivering a high specification finish, as standard.  Have a look at our recent article which details the notable standard you can expect and what it could cost to upgrade your home to this specification  ‘What would it cost to attain a Pringle specification in your home?

The Ribble Valley is a fine location to live;  the borough came out in the top 10 (sixth) in Channel 4’s Best Place To Live In The UK 2017.  Pinched in a valley between the Forest of Bowland and Pendle Hill, a considerable amount of the valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with panoramic views and countryside offering all kinds of outdoor pursuits, or just some fell walking and river strolls if you prefer.  There are a wealth of superb hotels, spas and restaurants.  The Ribble Valley Food Trail will keep you well stocked in a variety of local produce; meat from traditional Lancashire breeds, organic milk and cheese, yogurt and ice-cream, handmade pies, pastries and bread, and a feast of fruit and vegetables packed with natural flavour – all of it can be found at shops and restaurants along the borough’s leafy lanes and in its historic towns and villages.  The market towns of Clitheroe and Longridge are just a short drive away from Northcote Park.  The A59 is a direct route to the M6 motorway at junction 31 (9 miles) and the M65 a little further east along the A59.  Preston Train Station is 13 miles away, which gets you to London Euston in just over 2 hours.  Blackburn is 5.4 miles away.  Langho train station is a short walk from your new home, connecting you to Manchester Victoria in about an hour, or in the opposite direction to Clitheroe (5.8 miles).

We hope to be able to share further details of this exciting development with you, if and when we receive planning consent.  Watch this space for further details!
